Read the "Hunter College Grants Guide", available outside the Office of Student Services, Room 1119E, or online at: http://studentservices.hunter.cuny.edu/grant.htm.

Students who are interested in applying for Hunter College-based scholarships may complete the college’s on-line scholarship application. Click here to access the Hunter College Scholarship Application

The information that students provide on the scholarship application will be used to match available scholarships from various college-based sources with students who may be eligible.

Applications for these nationally competitive scholarships are now available:

Beinecke Scholarship Program (www.beineckescholarship.org) for an exceptional junior planning graduate study in the liberal arts.

Jacob K. Javits Fellowship (www.ed.gov/offices/OPE/HEP/iegps/javits.html) for graduate study in the arts, humanities and social sciences

Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship (www.act.org/goldwater) for sophomores and juniors studying mathematics and the natural sciences.

Harry S. Truman Scholarship (www.truman.gov) for juniors who are committed to careers in government or elsewhere in the public sector.

National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (www.orau.org/nsf/nsffel.htm) for graduate study in the natural and social sciences.

Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship for Minorities (www7.nationalacademies.org/fellowships) for designated minority group students.

Howard Hughes Medical Institute Predoctoral Fellowships in Biological Sciences (www7.nationalacademies.org/fellowships)

Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation Award (www.newcombefoundation.org) for women 25 years of age and older to complete their undergraduate degrees.
